This is my go to spot for an affordable 60-minute massage in NYC. Nowadays it’s hard to find a place that has a fair and clearly set price within a comfortable setting. I’ve been here 3 times as a walk in and each time I’ve received a skilled masseuse that takes into account my unique needs. The facilities are no-frills but very relaxing, incredibly clean, and the desk staff are friendly. From my experience, their standard hour massage includes an even amount of time on neck/shoulders, back, and legs, and ~10 mins of hot stones. This recent time, I was able to talk with the front desk to request a small amount of time be dedicated to my feet. All sessions I’ve felt safe to be completely disrobed under the towel they provide. They charge $50 for the hour and I’ve been compelled to tip at least $15 due to the hard work completed by my masseuse and everything mentioned above. I hope you enjoy as much as I do.
My massage was really sub-par. I was constantly in pain during the massage and gave feedback few times too.
I am not a massage expert but it felt like the masseuse massaged me in places that would hurt while the place that wouldn't hurt is right next to it and needs a deep tissue massage.
On top of that, the attendant at check out gave me grief for not tipping enough when I tipped 20% of the value I had paid for it.
Overall very disappointing experience and will not go there again.
I got a 90 min massage and this was the best massage I ever received. They took me last minute too. Very clean and everyone was nice.
This was probably the worst massage I’ve ever had. The masseuse didn’t ask about any injuries or areas to focus on. She was not trained and often rubbed on bone. It was advertised as an aromatherapy massage, but did not include this.
There are no doors to the massage rooms and no sound machines, so you can hear noises coming from the entire salon. The person at the front desk argued with a customer for 30 minutes and I could hear the entire thing. He was very rude.
I recommend going elsewhere.
The best massage place in New York! Amazing masseuses, super nice staff, clean facility - me and my friends go-to spot. Highly recommend
I had the worst experience with this spa. I called to make a reservation for a one-hour massage and informed them that my shoulder was hurting. I even asked them to recommend a good therapist who could help me alleviate the pain. However, all I got in return was a suggestion to go somewhere else! I was stunned and asked why, and the person on the phone repeated the same thing, telling me to go elsewhere.
. I was shocked by his rudeness and lack of professionalism. This experience has completely turned me off from ever wanting to visit this spa again. If this is how they treat their potential customers over the phone, I can only imagine how they would treat me in person. I would not recommend this spa to anyone who expects to be treated with basic respect and customer service. Stay away from this place if you want to be greeted with kindness and consideration.
I was pleased to be accepted for a massage last minute! The masseuse was kind and considerate though a bit stressed at first, as she kept on knocking on the door while I was changing. The place is simple, the massage was good, there were some uncomfortable bits that stopped once I asked to, like intense tubbing on the head, and pressure on the spine. After an overall relaxing massage with hot stones I paid and left a tip, yet was immediately told by the clerk that the tip price is twice what I had left 🤔. So I left the tip that he had asked for, but that called for another star to be lost in my opinion.
Been there twice! Amazing prices for no fuss, full body massage. Will be returning whenever I need a massage in the city.
